Chocolate Mint Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 3/4 cup egg substitute or 6 egg whites
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
  • Nonstick vegetable cooking spray

Frosting

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
  • 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
  • 2 tsp. skim milk
  • Few drops of green food coloring (optional)

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Stir all brownie ingredients together just until moistened. Pour into a 9x13 inch pan that has been coated with cooking spray.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes; allow to cool.
  4. Combine frosting ingredients and mix until smooth. Spread over cooled brownies.
