Assessment Week: Functional Fitness
July 20-24

Continue building your Cooper Quest® Score and establishing your fitness baseline by taking our Functional Fitness Assessment. You’ll complete five key movements—static posture, squat, shoulder mobility, thoracic (spine/back) mobility and toe touch—to help identify any muscle imbalances or weaknesses.

Monday, July 20: 7-8:30 a.m. | 2-5 p.m.
Tuesday, July 21: 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
Wednesday, July 22: 7:30-11 a.m. | 2-5:30 p.m.
Thursday, July 23: 9 a.m.-noon | 4-6 p.m.
Friday, July 24: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. | 3-5 p.m.

Community Walk

Enjoy a morning walk and great conversation with fellow members. Whether you choose to walk a few laps or a longer distance, all fitness levels are welcome. Following the walk, stop by the Fleet Feet table in the lobby.

Ask a Trainer Panel Q&A
Monday, July 13, 4 p.m.

You’ve got questions—we’ve got answers. Join an interactive Q&A session with Professional Fitness Trainers Cory Scharwarth, MS, Christian Mazur and Joshua Cuellas covering strength training, flexibility, recovery and more. Bring your questions and leave with tips and strategies you can put into action right away. Refreshments will be provided.

Fitness Everyday Workshop
Tuesday, July 28, noon

Functional fitness is essential for performing daily living activities such as walking up and down stairs, bending down, sitting in a chair, etc. Mary Edwards, MS, Director of Fitness, will demonstrate functional fitness exercises and share tips to help you move your best. Refreshments will be provided.

Challenge

Myzone® MEPs Series: World Cup Challenge
July 1-31

In honor of the first FIFA World Cup held in 1930, your challenge is to earn 1,930 Myzone Effort Points (MEPs) during the month of July. Simply track your exercise with a Myzone heart rate monitor to participate in the challenge. Participants who achieve the goal will be entered to win a Cooper Spa 50-minute Deep Tissue Massage.
