Swim Lessons
Make a splash year-round with Cooper. For more than 30 years, Cooper Fitness Center has taught children the lifelong and lifesaving sport of swimming. Our goal is to make strong and secure swimmers by teaching swim skills and water safety.

Learn to Swim
Swim Pro Bobby Manning and our team of swim instructors provide private and semi-private lessons in a positive, nurturing environment. Lessons focus on helping each swimmer:
- Develop stroke mechanics and efficiency
- Learn proper breathing mechanics
- Build stamina and confidence in the water
- Overcome fear of the water

Competitive Swim Training (March-November)
Children & Teen Swimming Lessons
For children of all ages, infants (6 months) to teens, we offer the following swim lesson instruction:
- Private and semi-private lessons
- Triathlon swim training
- Swim team preparation training
Cooper swim training is built on the core structure of consistency, class size, class time and repetition.

For beginner to intermediate swimmers, 30-minute private lessons are recommended. For intermediate to advanced swimmers, 60-minute lessons are ideal.

Private Lessons (year-round)
Ages 6 months and older
- 15-minute lesson: Instructor, $30
- 30-minute lesson: Pro, $80 | Instructor, $60
- 45-minute lesson: Pro, $120 | Instructor, $90
- 60-minute lesson: Pro, $160 | Instructor, $120
Semi-Private Lessons (year-round)
Ages 6 months and older
2-4 children per lesson

- 30-minute lesson: Pro, $50 | Instructor, $40

- 60-minute lesson: Pro, $85 | Instructor, $70

Swim Academy (June-August)
Ages 3-5
30-minute small group lessons; up to 4 swimmers per group
June-August
Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays
Two session times: 4-4:30 p.m. | 4:30-5 p.m.

Youth Competitive Swim Training
Swim Team – Ages 6-17
For intermediate to advanced youth swimmers, our Swim Team focuses on stroke technique, distance swimming and some competitive aspects of the sport. Must be able to swim 50 yards unassisted (two pool lengths) and must be comfortable swimming freestyle and back stroke. Breaststroke and butterfly are encouraged.

Capacity: 20 participants
March-November
- Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5-6 p.m.
- Saturdays, 11 a.m.-noon
May attend up to three sessions/week. If a session is cancelled due to inclement weather, a make-up session will be held the following Sunday at 11 a.m.

- Month-to-Month: $480
