Take Turns – Let others work in while strength training.

Lift Weights, Not Phones – Power down your cell phone and power up your workout.

Keep Things Tidy – Rack your weights, wipe down equipment, use towel bins and trash cans.

Dress for the Gym – Thank you for wearing appropriate athletic clothing and shoes.

We’re Here for You – Ask a Fitness Floor Associate (aka Red Shirt) for assistance.

Safe and Secure – Day lockers are available in the locker rooms to store personal belongings. Bags and purses are not allowed on the Fitness Floor.

Good Call – Limit cell phone use to listening to music with headphones and accessing the Cooper Fitness Center app, Myzone® or other fitness apps while on the Fitness Floor. View our cell phone policy.

For Your Privacy and the Privacy of Others – Cell phone use and camera use are not permitted in the locker rooms.

Please Be Courteous …of individuals walking on the indoor and outdoor tracks.

CHECK-IN POLICY

Enter Here – All members and guests must check in at the Service Desk in our main lobby. Members may check in using their name, membership card or Cooper Fitness Center app. All guests must show a valid photo ID and complete a facility waiver.

Guest day pass fee:

  • $40
  • $20 with Cooper Fitness Center member present

OUTDOOR TRACK POLICY

Walk this Way – Prior to using the outdoor track, all members must check in at the Service Desk. The outdoor track is also available for use by Cooper Hotel guests. Strollers are permitted. Pets are not allowed on the outdoor track.

GROUP EXERCISE ETIQUETTE

Newcomer – Introduce yourself to the instructor and share any special considerations.

Tardiness Can Hurt – Your safety and fitness are compromised the later you arrive to class.

The In-Crowd – Group classes are designed around group activity—your participation is appreciated.

Be “Scentsable” – Please refrain from wearing perfume or cologne to class.

Time to Unplug – Please refrain from bringing electronic devices (for example, cell phones, tablets, laptops, etc.) to class. 

Turn it Down – Please use your inside voice outside the Mind/Body Studio. 

Secure Your Spot – To attend a group exercise class, registration is required. Register on the Cooper Fitness Center app.

SWIM LANE/TENNIS COURT RESERVATIONS

Reservations Required – Reserve your swim lane, pickleball or tennis court up to 24 hours in advance through the Cooper Fitness Center app.

KIDS 12 & UNDER

Under direct parental supervision, children 12 and younger may use select Cooper Fitness Center facilities during Children’s Hours:

Monday-Friday, 1-4:30 p.m.
Saturday, 8:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m.
Sunday, 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
