Dr. Ramya Kollipara is a board-certified dermatologist who specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Kollipara graduated with the highest honor from University of Missouri-Kansas City with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She also earned her medical degree at University of Missouri-Kansas City, graduating at the top of her class.
After medical school, Dr. Kollipara completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado Denver and a Dermatology Clinical Research Fellowship at the Center for Clinical Studies in Houston. She completed her dermatology residency at the Texas Tech University Health Science Center, serving as Chief Resident in her final year. She then completed a Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship at Cosmetic Laser Dermatology in San Diego.
Dr. Kollipara has written more than 50 publications in peer-reviewed journals and accumulated numerous awards throughout her academic and professional career, including appearances in D Magazine’s Best Doctors of 2022 and 2023. Prior to joining Cooper Clinic in 2024, Dr. Kollipara worked at Westlake Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery in Dallas and Signature Dermatology and Aesthetics in Plano, Texas.
Dr. Kollipara enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with her husband, son and golden retriever.
