F. Ryan Harris, MD

Dr. Ryan Harris is a preventive medicine physician and 24/7 Platinum physician for Cooper Clinic Platinum. He joined Cooper Clinic in 2022, and was added to the Platinum team in 2025.

Dr. Harris graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Princeton University and earned a certificate in Biomedical Sciences from The University of Texas at Dallas. He attended The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School where he earned his Doctor of Medicine before completing his residency in family medicine at Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, Indiana. While there, he also received a Global Health Certificate. Dr. Harris is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Before coming to Cooper Clinic, Dr. Harris specialized in chronic disease management, mental wellness, in-office procedures, preventive medicine and urgent care at Crossroads Medical Group in White House, Tennessee. Dr. Harris has participated in many volunteer activities including providing health services at refugee camps in Athens, Greece and conducting sports physicals for high school and college teams. He is fluent in English and Spanish and has served as an interpreter at the Monday Clinic in Dallas.

In his free time, Dr. Harris enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, listening to music, exercising and watching mixed martial arts.
