Frequently Asked Questions

What is Cooper Clinic Platinum? Cooper Clinic Platinum provides personalized care for all your preventive, primary and acute medical needs. The benefits include increased access and time with a dedicated personal physician to address your health care needs and goals. Add to it a comprehensive list of services and your health care is taken to a whole new level.

How will this benefit me? We provide the best in health care. Laboratory, dermatology, optometry, nutrition, cardiology and gastroenterology services are available as needed. You have round-the-clock access to your Platinum medical team to assist and guide you with your medical needs and concerns and achieve your wellness goals.

What ages do you accept in the Platinum program? We can treat individuals 18 and older.

How long will it take to return phone calls and emails? During office hours, a dedicated Patient Advocate works directly with you via phone, text and email and responds in a timely manner.

How quickly can I see the doctor? Depending on the medical urgency and physician recommendation, an appointment can be made the day of or the following business day.

What happens if I have a medical need after hours? Cooper Clinic is not an emergency medical center. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or seek assistance from the nearest hospital or emergency room. Then call your Platinum Physician.

For non-emergent medical assistance, you have access to your Platinum team via cell phone or email.

Who will take care of me when my personal physician is on vacation? In this instance, your Platinum Physician’s phone number will be forwarded to another Platinum Physician. You can still expect the same timely response you would receive from your Platinum Physician. You may also be seen in the office if needed by another Platinum Physician.

Do you take insurance? Cooper Clinic has opted out of commercial insurance plans and Medicare. We are considered out-of-network providers. To seek any reimbursement from your insurance company, we can provide the appropriate documentation.

Do I even need insurance? Yes, we do require you to have health insurance. It is necessary to have when we are referring you to outside medical specialists or facilities. We cannot accept anyone with an HMO.

What if I have Medicare? Patients with Medicare are welcome to join Platinum and receive the same services. Cooper Clinic has opted out of Medicare and cannot file for reimbursement. For referrals to specialists, we work to refer you to physicians who accept Medicare.

What is the membership agreement and fee? Cooper Clinic Platinum is a 12-month medical membership. The annual fee is paid at the beginning of the contract and is based on age and tier. Please refer to our brochure for specific details. For pricing inquiries, please call us at 972.367.6446.

How do I join Cooper Clinic Platinum? Please contact us and we are happy to discuss the program, answer any questions and discuss pricing in detail. The first step to joining Platinum is to complete a Cooper Clinic comprehensive preventive exam, a requirement of membership. After your exam, we can execute the contract based on your medical needs.
