Kids ages 9-13 are getting fired up about fitness in Cooper Fitness Center Dallas' IGNITE! athletic development program.

Coached by Shannon Edwards, Cooper Fitness Center Professional Fitness Trainer, IGNITE! combines fitness, sports, movement and games to help improve athletic performance. The exercises and activities focus on agility, coordination, endurance, balance, speed, power and strength while promoting a healthy lifestyle and teaching the fundamentals of fitness.

As participants complete each three-week session and master various skill sets, they progress through the levels of training represented by colors—white, yellow, green, blue, red and black. They receive a T-shirt designating their achievement.
This program has three goals:

  1. Encourage your child to move.
  2. Educate and coach your child how to move more efficiently with proper technique.
  3. Help your child find enjoyment through fun physical activity.

2019 Dates
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:30-5:30 p.m.

  • Session 1: January 8-24
  • Session 2: February 5-21
  • Session 3: March 5-28
  • Session 4: April 9-25
  • Session 5: May 7-23
  • Session 6: June 4-20
  • Session 7: July 9-25
  • Session 8: August 6-22
  • Session 9: September 3-19
  • Session 10: October 1-17
  • Session 11: October 29-November 14
  • Session 12: December 3-19

You can sign your kids up for one session per week or both. Space is limited to 10 participants per session.

Tuesdays OR Thursdays (3 classes), $120
Tuesdays AND Thursdays (6 classes), $220

There are no refunds. Make-up sessions must be scheduled within the same month's program.

As an added bonus, you can get in shape too.
One guardian of each child participant will receive limited access to Cooper Fitness Center to utilize during the program time.

Please note: Access is only valid during the time your child is participating in IGNITE! Your access will expire upon your child’s completion of the IGNITE! program. If your child participates in multiple consecutive sessions, you will be able to access Cooper Fitness Center throughout the entirety of their participation.
