For more than 20 years, Patty Kirk, a registered and licensed dietitian and the co-director of the Nutrition Department, has worked at Cooper Clinic specializing in weight management and cardiovascular nutrition and wellness. Certified by the American Dietetic Association in Childhood and Adolescent Weight Management, she developed the Cooper Healthy Habits for Kids nutrition education program and works one-on-one with children and their parents. She co-authored two cookbooks, What's Cooking at the Cooper Clinic and More of What's Cooking at the Cooper Clinic. Patty received a Bachelor of Science in dietetics and institutional management from Kansas State University and interned at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.
