Robert Nelson, Jr.

Rob Nelson serves as president and chief operating officer of Cooper Aerobics Enterprises, Inc., administrator of Cooper Clinic, and treasurer of Cooper Concepts, Inc. He is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the Medical Group Management Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Nelson graduated from Oral Roberts University in 1982 with a bachelor of science degree in accounting and started his career in public accounting with Coopers & Lybrand in Tulsa, Okla. He joined Cooper in 1995 as controller after spending 12 years in the banking industry working in various capacities involving strategic planning, financial reporting and analysis, due diligence for acquisitions, and asset/liability management.
