Radiology

Includes mammograms, osteoporosis screenings, and multi-detector computed tomography (MDCT) scans as part of the comprehensive examination and for individuals with a physician's referral.

Digital Mammogram
A radiographic screening of the breasts to detect early signs of breast cancer.

Osteoporosis Screening / Bone Density
A low radiation assessment of the density (or calcium content) of the bones of the spine and hip to screen for osteoporosis.

Multi-Detector Computed Tomography (MDCT)
Using the latest CT technology, 64 slice CT, this screening procedure takes images of the chest and abdomen, which are evaluated for abnormalities. The images of the heart are assessed for build up of calcium in the arteries and other risk factors for coronary arterial disease. The procedure may also detect early cancers and other diseases in the chest and abdomen regions. Heart only CT scans and lung scans, as well as CT angiography, can be performed when clinically indicated.

CT Colonography (Virtual Colonoscopy)
Utilizing MDCT technology, the CT Colonography is a minimally invasive exam for the early detection and prevention of colon cancer.
