Dr. Tornelli is a staff physician specializing in internal medicine. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a B.A. in microbiology. She earned her medical degree (1988) and completed her internal medicine internship and residency at The University of Texas Medical Branch (Galveston, Texas). Dr. Tornelli is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a certified medical review officer. She has also served as Vice-Chair of the Department of Community Medicine at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas since 1994. In 2003, she was re-appointed to the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners for six years. Her areas of special medical interest include cardiovascular risk modification, osteoporosis, and women's health.
