James R. Ampil, M.D.

Dr. Ampil is a staff physician and specializes in internal medicine. He earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Southern Methodist University, and in 1995 he received his medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. From 1995 to 1998, Dr. Ampil completed his internal medicine residency at Parkland Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and his areas of medical interest include preoperative management of patients and resident curriculum and training.
