Nutrition Tip of the Week |

Healthy Eating on the Road
When you travel, plan to continue the healthy eating and
exercise programs you maintain at home. To stay on track:
1. Add to your carry-on tote cut-up vegetables, fruit and
baked chips or other good-for-you crackers.
2. Balance a rich meal with an all-vegetable meal such as
a vegetable plate, soup and salad; or a baked potato and salad.
3. Take your exercise clothes and use them! You can jump
rope in your hotel room, take brisk walks, “stair-walk”
in stairwells, and stay at hotels with exercise facilities
or club affiliations.
