The Cooper Weight Loss behavioral and skill-building programs combine psychological, behavioral, and nutritional components into a results-focused program.
INDIVIDUALIZED BEHAVIORAL PROGRAM To begin, we recommend a medical evaluation (blood work, exercise stress test, and exam) conducted by a Cooper physician and a psychological evaluation (one-hour weight and lifestyle evaluation) conducted by our Cooper staff psychologist. These assessments provide a complete weight loss profile to get you started in the right direction.
Next, you schedule weekly behavioral skill-building sessions with one of our experts in behavior modification, lifestyle change, and skill building. Based on cutting-edge research conducted at The Cooper Institute and around the country, the topics introduce you to the most effective weight loss strategies and skills needed to successfully make lifestyle changes.
You also have the option to add on dietary and nutritional counseling sessions, psychological treatment, or access to Cooper Fitness Center and certified trainers.
With behavior change, physical activity, and healthy eating guidance in one comprehensive program, Cooper Weight Loss helps you maximize your weight loss and improve your overall health.
