In 2009, Diane Proud, Cooper Fitness Center's running pro, was diagnosed with ALS, often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's Disease." Proceeds from the Run Proud 5K will benefit the ALS Association and Diane's medical expenses.

Awards and Prizes
The Overall and Master male and female finishers and the top finishers per age group will receive an award. Chip timing is required to be eligible for awards. No duplicate awards given.
