IGNITE!

Cooper Fitness Center is committed to helping all members of the family find enjoyment through exercise. We realize that creating a solid foundation in movement and athletic training exists early on in life for your children. If athletic abilities and an appreciation for movement are not optimized during these years, they are hard to teach down the road.
 
We would like to personally invite your child(ren) to attend our newest youth fitness program, IGNITE!, coached by Shannon Edwards, one of Cooper Fitness Center’s top professional fitness trainers. We want to help your child gain more confidence, develop long-term health habits, and “ignite” their desire to choose physical activity through the right tools and experience.

IGNITE! provides youth, ages 8-12, the combination of fitness, sports, movement, and games. Each exercise and activity intends to improve your child’s agility, coordination, endurance, balance, speed, power, or strength while promoting a healthy lifestyle and teaching the fundamentals of fitness. This program is for all youth—from young athletes looking to improve their performance to non-competitive youth who just want to stay active and have fun.
 
This program is designed with three goals in mind:

  1. Encourage your child to move.
  2. Educate and coach your child how to move more efficiently with proper technique.
  3. Find enjoyment through fun physical activity.


Program Dates:

Every Tuesday and Thursday, 4-5 p.m.
April 6-22 (6 sessions)
May 4-27 (8 sessions)
June 8-24 (6 sessions)
July 27-August 12 (6 sessions)

You can sign your kids up for one session per week or both. Space is limited to 10 participants per session.
 

Program Costs:


FOUR-WEEK PROGRAMS (May 4-27)
Members — Tuesdays OR Thursdays (4 sessions), $140
Tuesdays AND Thursdays (8 sessions), $280

Non-Members — Tuesdays OR Thursdays (4 sessions), $180
Tuesdays AND Thursdays (8 sessions), $360

THREE-WEEK PROGRAMS (April 6-22; June 8-24; July 27-August 12)
Members — Tuesdays OR Thursdays (3 sessions), $105
Tuesdays AND Thursdays (6 sessions), $210

Non-Members — Tuesdays OR Thursdays (3 sessions), $135
Tuesdays AND Thursdays (6 sessions), $270

There are no refunds.


Location:
Classes are held at the Cooper Fitness Center located at 12100 Preston Road, Dallas, Texas 75230.


As an added bonus, you can get in shape too.*
 
One guardian of each child participant will receive limited access to Cooper Fitness Center to utilize during the program time.

*Please note: Access is only valid during the time your child is participating in this program and you must register in advance for this incentive with Meredith Rosson. Your access will expire upon your child’s completion of the IGNITE! program. If your child participates in multiple consecutive sessions, you will be able to access Cooper Fitness Center throughout the entirety of their participation.
