Two-Day Wellness
A healthy weekend getaway is now available through Cooper Wellness in a two-day format. The program addresses healthy behaviors, nutrition education, and physical activity.
The program includes lectures and workshops on the following topics:
Healthy Behaviors
- Maintaining behavior changes
- Motivation techniques
- Relaxation techniques
- Managing Stress
Nutrition Education
- Cooking class
- Taking Your Diet Out to Eat
Physical Activity
- Diversified exercise classes
- Stretch class

The first two-day program will be offered in February 2010.
Cost and Cancellation Policy
The two-day program costs for an individual is $695 and includes accommodations at Cooper Guest Lodge. Cost for participants that come in pairs is $995.
To reserve your space, a deposit is required for each person enrolling. The balance is due and payable on the first day of the program. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
Deposits are fully refundable if the cancellation notice is received at least 16 days prior to scheduled program date. If you cancel between 15 days and 3 days prior to the start date, your full deposit may be applied to a program rescheduled within one year. Half of the deposit is forfeited if cancellation is within three days of the program. No refunds are given for early departure.
Travel Information
Cooper Aerobics Center is conveniently located in the heart of North Dallas and near Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field Airport For. Participants who live in the Dallas/Ft.
- Transportation – Limousine services to and from Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport or Dallas Love Field Airport are available upon request. Rates start at approximately $55. We can make these accommodations for you.
Program Tips
- Expect to meet new people. Class size varies between 10 and 20 participants.
- Male participants 40 and older and female participants age 50 and over who do not schedule a Cooper Clinic physical exam, must have had a treadmill stress test within one year of attending Cooper Wellness Program, or a written release to exercise from your physician.
- Bring comfortable exercise clothing, athletic shoes and a swim suit. Bring one or two outfits for dining out. You may want to bring a sweater or jacket in case the meeting rooms are cool.
