Course Information
The transition area will open 90 minutes before the race start time.

350-Meter Serpentine Swim – 50-meter outdoor pool

12-Mile Bike (two loops) – The bike course is concrete urban roads. It is flat and fast. Each major intersection and turn around will be traffic controlled.

5K Run – The run course is fairly flat. Aid stations will be located approximately every mile. Each aid station will be equipped with water and Powerade.

USAT Sanctioned Event
The Cooper Summer Sprint Triathlon Series races are USA Triathlon (USAT) sanctioned events. All participants must be a current annual member of USAT OR purchase a one-day permit for $12 (per race) or an annual membership for $45 through online registration or at packet pick-up. USAT rules will be in effect and enforced. All participants must show photo ID at packet pickup– no exceptions. USAT members must show membership card at packet pickup.

Participants must pick up their own packets. On race day, neither packet pick-up nor registration will be available. There will be a $25 transfer fee if you would like to give your race number to someone else. If you do not pick up your packet at one of the dates listed, we will sell your race number on race morning to the waiting list. Absolutely no refunds.
Post-Race Breakfast
A FREE pancake breakfast for all race participants will be served poolside after the race. Provided by Tenley's Cafe, located inside Cooper Fitness Center at Craig Ranch.
Awards
The overall male and female winners and masters will receive trophies and additional prizes.
Awards will also be given out to the first, second and third place winners in the following categories:

Relay team

Athena – age 39 and under • age 40+

Clydesdale – age 39 and under • age 40+

Age group – top three males and females per age group

Series – Overall awards will be given to the best combined times in the three race series. Most Improved will also receive an award.
