Dr. Michael Chapman is a staff physician and specializes in family and preventive medicine. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Baylor University with a B.S. in biology, and earned his medical degree with High Honors from The University of Texas Medical Branch (Galveston, Texas). Dr. Chapman completed his residency through the Via Christi Family Medicine Program at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and his special medical interests include preventive medicine, cardiovascular risk management, and child and adolescent health. After six years in private practice, Dr. Chapman joined Cooper Clinic in 2007. He is an Eagle Scout and a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. Dr. Chapman and his wife, Carolyn, have two children.
