Dr. Nelson is vice president and medical director of Cooper Clinic at Craig Ranch. He is also a staff physician and specializes in family and preventive medicine. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. degree and received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston in 1984. He completed his family practice residency and was a chief resident at the University of Oklahoma Tulsa Medical College. Dr. Nelson is certified by the American Board of Family Practice and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners. His areas of special medical interest include health education and preventive medicine.
